I can't believe this place doesn't have more reviews. We came here to break our fast, the line looked pretty long initially but it moved so quickly. The service was fast, friendly, and homey. This hole in the wall had one of the best rotisserie chickens I've had in a while, and the toum and pickles made it a perfect bite. If you're looking for good food with no frills and kind service, you'll find it here :)

Best food ever. I drive an hour from Northern Oakland County and never have regretted it! Authentic Lebanese. Couldn't be happier. Thank you for your FOOD!

Golden Chicken is a fantastic restaurant with huge portions, great prices, and delicious food to match. My go-to order is typically something like this: Large Chicken Shawarma Plate - It's like several pounds of meat with a pita on top and bottom to soak up some of the juices. The chicken shawarma here is some of the best in the area, nicely seasoned with some good crisp edges. Large Side of Yellow Rice - has some peas, carrots, and a small amount of chicken shawarma mixed in. Good rice as a base for everything else. Medium Tabbouli - Pretty standard tabbouli, I always get it for some extra veggies. Large Hummus - It's a really good hummus. Really nothing else to say. Toum (Garlic) - Comes with the meal, strong garlic flavor, not much sour lemon flavor. Some of the best Toum I've had. I think Golden Chicken uses less filler than most other places, which is great. This comes to just over $50 and it's easily enough to feed my wife and me for 3 or 4 days. They also give you a cup of toum, a small container of pickles and an entire 10-pack of pita from one of the local bakeries if you spend above I think $30. Honestly the only thing I think could be improved is if they baked fresh pita in house. I highly recommend Golden Chicken if you're looking for great Lebanese food.

As a Lebanese citizen who lives in Florida, I look for authentic and traditional food that reminds me of Lebanon. I have visited Dearbon over 24 times. I have tried most of the restaurants. But, I loved and enjoyed the rotisserie chicken, grilled chicken, falafel and kabobs at GOLDEN CHICKEN. The customer service and hospitality of the staff are superb. The prices are the lowest in the area. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious leb food.

This place is great. They keep things simple, selling Meat and Chicken Shawarma sandwiches, Rotisserie Chicken, the star a whole Chicken on da cheap and a variety of side items. We ate inside a dozen seats and clean restroom. You can get the meat, which is a combo of beef and lamb, or the seasoned chicken. Both are delicious. A whole Chicken 11bucks outstanding Delicious, had one each Chicken n Beef Shawarma along with Sujuk Sandwich OMG fantastic. We spent a hour eating and watching at least 50 customers pickup food. 4 employees behind counter work nonstop making all happy. We going back soon to try more of the menu. You won't find any paid foodies from Instagram, just Arabic families enjoying great food. Prices are low and food is Flavorful what more do you need. Going on 15 year's now a very pleasant experience you must try.

I have been coming to them since they had the hole in the wall location across the street. And when I tell you even then the food was delicious. They are my go to when I want a quick and delicious meal I know my kids will eat. My kids aren't fast foodies so when in a rush I get a whole chicken, yellow rice, stuffed grape leaves and hummus. Oh not to mention my husbands shawarma he gets a different one every time. But the whole trip is for the chicken. I mean it's so full of flavor and hands down the best rotisserie chicken you could ever buy and the prices are reasonable. Definitely a hidden gem. So happy for them being able to move to a bigger and much better building. They now have a lot more seating and the parking lot is bigger.

You know the stereotype of a hole in the wall having the best food? This is it! I visited this spot after reading about it here on Yelp. The food was really good but the prices & the hours are what keep me coming back. The food is consistently fresh. They give so much food that I've had to stop them several times. They're open until 11:00 pm but they often run out of food before then. It's always loud & packed with men. The guys behind the counter are personable and friendly. They're always in a rush though. No time to talk to you about the menu. I haven't had their signature dish yet - the rotisserie chicken but not because it doesn't look and smell good. I usually get rice with some of the meat & veggie stews. This has quickly become my go to spot whenever I'm hungry and don't know what I want to eat.
